If you already have a business with product in the market and need help with your quality program, procedures or compliance work done, the best way to get started is to book a complimentary 30 minute consult to discuss your needs.

What happens after payment is processed?

You will be redirected to a page with instructions on how to book a session and a link to our calendly page. Also, to get the most of your session, we’d like to ensure we have all the information to prepare for the session so we may request information such as your formula, specifications, label, etc. All information is kept strictly confidential and an NDA signed, if needed.

What is the format of your session?

The sessions are conducted over MS Teams video calling. All you need is a web browser or smartphone. We also recommend having a headphone/mic to minimize audio echo or feedback. The sessions are flexible in format and conversational, allowing you to ask all your questions in the time together and cover a multitude of topics depending on your business needs.

Can I record the video session?

As regulations are constantly updated, as well as its enforcement and interpretation by regulatory agencies over time, sessions are not to be recorded. However, a copy of the notes/content/presentations are provided to you after the sessions. You’re also welcome to take notes during the sessions. In certain instances and depending on the topic, a session may be recorded at the discretion of Blue Ocean Regulatory and provided to the client.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for the sessions, services or digital products. It is possible that you may have time remaining (ie. 1 hour remaining from a 2hr session) and to that, your remaining time does not expire and another session can be scheduled in the future.

What is your 1:1 consultation cancellation policy?

Please notify us within 24 hours of the appointment date and we would be happy to reschedule. If you scheduled with our calendal link, you may reschedule with the link found in the original calendly email. No-shows are subject to no refunds.

I don’t think I need a whole 2 hours - is there a shorter duration offered?

If you have time remaining, that will be logged by us and we can reschedule another session. For example, some sessions may only need 1 hour of a 2 hour session. You are free to reschedule the remaining 1 hour in the future.

Note that time is generally divided into 60 minutes blocks for live calls (with exceptions down to 30 minutes) and 15 minute blocks for other inquiries or questions that can be addressed by email. For example one live call would be logged as 30 minutes even if it only lasts 20 minutes. Similarly, if an email question takes 10 minutes to complete, it would be rounded up to the 15 minute/quarter.

Are you acting as my consultant if I purchase a DS session?

If you are to retain us for compliance work, a consulting agreement would be signed between both parties and then we would act as your consultant(s). Otherwise, if you are looking to understand what is required to start a supplement/food/health products business and need to conduct further foundational exploratory work with us, consider us your experts that you have access to.

Are your sessions confidential?

Yes, 100% confidential. We work with clients from global organizations to start-ups and can have NDAs signed between parties, if/when required.

I’ve been learning a lot from your YouTube videos and other free content, how much more different are your sessions or SSET online training?

While we always strive to offer quality content, regardless whether it’s paid or not, we can confidently say that the free content is only scratching the surface. The regulations and other requirements, along with practical execution, goes much deeper than that found on our YouTube channel or other free content.
